Takada Kenzo

The Japanese designer and couturier Takada Kenzo created the Kenzo brand in Paris, in the 1970, now the brand belongs to the French concern LVMH. In the 2011, the duo of American designers with Japan roots was invited to the position of the creative director of the Kenzo House to the change of Marassu: Carol Lim and Umberto Lyon, the founders of the conceptual brand of the Opening Ceremony in New York. The designers create incredibly fresh and fashionable collections.
Kenzo collections are an invitation to travel in the other new constantly having good surprises direction.

KENZO Kids appeared in the 80s of the XXth century. The line of Kenzo clothes for children is an art of mixing of feelings and painting of everyday life with preservation of a modern view on everything unusual and captivating in the world. Largely it happens due to combining and use of cultures and tastes of all countries.
The themes of the brand effectively use different contrasts:
·            The shimmering tints combine with neutral tones;
·            Decorative and braid fabrics are combined in scrappy mixes;
·            The flower prints are combined with graphical design.

The style of the collection Kenzo is a free and clear fit, ethnic and classical motives` mixing, and always the vortex of exotic colors as well as an experiment. These are striking decorations of clothes with the Venetian lace, with patterned cloth, with the silks, grid, and wool, which are tinged by little pieces of inlays, by the jacquard cloth, and an ornament.

The child collection largely inherits the style and decorative elements intrinsic for the fashion house collection for adults, but it is adapted especially for little lovers. The constant luxury style in a combination with comfort and high-quality fabrics necessary for kids is embodied in collections from year to year.

Exotic countries, as well as the new and the past are interlaced as vintage cloths from the workshop of Kenzo Takada (silk and gold jacquard) and neoprene or some new industrial fabrics, used while the production of a collection.  The vintage fibers give warm gleam and an atmosphere of immersion in antiquity; neoprene and the technological cloths wonderfully keep the form, because sculptured base along with expression of a color row and courage of prints are one of the most important fashionable codes of the season to come. The collection breathes by art that, as always by the side of Kenzo, does not come up real life, but it is closely interwoven into it by a lot of pied threads. Once usual things, sweatshirts, sweaters, jackets, coats, shirts, skirts and dresses have so much novelty, vividnesses and uniqueness in themselves! All these "simple" at first sight clothes turned into a fashionable uniform of the city. During the last Paris Fashion Week, no print flickered so often among guests of the runway shows, as tigers, clouds, lightnings, raindrops, and the eye from the collection of Kenzo. The energetic, charismatic, young and full of drive collection is at the same time very romantic and low-key.

The world of Kenzo is the free, but clear and recognizable fit, the unusual mix of colors and materials, as well as dense prints. The brand has the unique depth of an ambiguity, mixing in its collections two opposite worldviews – keen wisdom of the East and uncontrollable energy of west megalopolises: The ethnic motifs are complementing classics, urbanism geometry, and a bright-unrestrained jungle – Kenzo is always opened for experiments and fresh ideas. Thus, it reflects the spirit of kids and youth. It is the stuff to be bought for them!
