Kenzo for Kids

Founded by Kenzo Takado, a Japanese fashion designer, who later moved to France, the Kenzo brand continues to demonstrate unsurpassed vivacity while absorbing ideas and influences from different trends. Kenzo’s famous brand for babies and kids emanated from ideas used originally in clothes for men and women. Today, the brand wonderfully combines Oriental philosophy and European immaculacy.

Kenzo has carried its unique and recognizable style through years and distance. Bold and daring, it brightly reflects Kenzo Takado’s adventurous character. He started with reading his sisters’ fashion magazines and, much to his parents’ dissatisfaction, joined a fashion design college in Tokyo, now being the only male student. Then he moved to Paris (1964) and worked there as a freelance designer until he opened his first boutique (1970). Kenzo advertised his collection in a somewhat extravagant way: he rode into a circus arena atop an elephant. In 1993, Kenzo Takada sold the brand to LVMN – one of the largest luxury goods manufacturers in France and in the world.

Since 2011, Kenzo hires two Japanese-American designers as artistic directors to infuse modernity into the classic Kenzo style, and now they maintain four lines: Birth, Baby Clothes, Kids and Junior.
Kenzo’s unique attitude has firmly imprinted itself in his style. However, he laid just as strict an emphasis upon the utilitarian side of his work. He took great care to guarantee top quality and make wear feel comfortable for clients, especially for babies and kids. Needless to say, all pieces feature colorful logos and vibrant prints, which single the brand out from all other brands in a highly specific way.

The Kenzo fashion house continues to introduce iconic pieces featuring the trademark Kenzo logos and prints. Kenzo Tiger-printed sweatshirts, T-shirts, jeans, jumpers, trousers, rompers, etc., sell all over the world like hot cakes ever since the brand’s inception. Oriental themes in Kenzo clothes never lose their meaning and go well with all trends. All Kenzo pieces mirror the founder’s striving to emphasize nature as a source of inspiration, and it has so far been observable in all Kenzo collections.

What’s really good about the Kenzo collection is its availability. There are thousands of online boutiques offering the most vivid examples of the worlds’ top fashion houses, including Kenzo.
